Picking a Keyboard

There are lots of options when it comes to picking a keyboard. If you search on Amazon there will be hundreds of options. Some of them are junk and will be a waste of money.

Here are some important MUST haves:

Touch sensitive (ability to play loud and soft
Headphone jack
Sustain pedal input

Bonus: If you can afford a weighted keyboard, they are the best. They feel the most like a real piano However, they are much more expensive than non weighted keyboards.

Beginner Suggestion

Not everyone has the same goals. Some want to learn to play classical music. Some want to play for church or learn to play a song they heard on the radio. Tracie will work with you to help you achieve your goals when it comes to playing the piano.
